# How can I register for the telc exam?

On our website you can find the current exam dates and prices for your desired location. Please fill out the [online registration form](https://www.deutschakademie.de/en/german-language-certificates/telc/registration/) to sign up for the exam. 📝

The exam can be booked independently from a course. Therefore, a placement test is not necessary. After the successful booking in our webshop, you will receive a confirmation email from us with further information.

The **registration deadline** is generally **16 days before the exam**. However, we recommend registering early, as the number of spots is limited. For an accessible exam, please register at least 4 weeks in advance.

You can cancel or **reschedule** the exam free of charge up to **4 weeks before the exam date**. After that, cancellation or rescheduling is no longer possible, and the full exam fee will be charged.
